ACT: Tax Extenders Agreement is a Bridge to Tax Reform
WASHINGTON Today, the Alliance for Competitive Taxation (ACT) applauded the bipartisan agreement on the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act of 2015:
“We applaud congressional leaders for reaching a historic agreement on the expired tax provisions, which are so critical to our nation's economic stability. The PATH Act preserves tax incentives that encourage economic growth and job creation and is a significant bridge towards enacting comprehensive tax reform. We encourage the House and Senate to take swift action and approve this critical package.
“Going forward, we urge leaders in Congress and the Administration to build on the agreement and work to establish a globally-competitive tax system that aligns the United States with the rest of the world."
